Fresh out the paint booth ! 1967 Mercury Cougar in a custom black / deep purple / blue in high quality water based Xirallic metallic pearl and ultra-high quality clear coat by us in the UK (All materials VOC compliant). Glass out paint job so new front and rear windshield gaskets and headliner.
I think it’s the only one for sale in the UK and they refer to it as a gentleman’s Mustang. 2 owners from new Cali then Midwestern states.
Centreline wheels, firestone tyres in good condition AC car, born a 289 V8 and sold new in California now has a pretty beefy 351 Windsor. Auto transmission, runs and stops and drives great.
Interior looks original and is in good condition.
Electrics are good, console car, power steering and brakes work as they should, hei style electronic ignition, kyb gas adjust shocks, solid original all steel car. Retains original owner’s manual. Has a large performance exhaust.
Observations: sequential indictors are not working as it needs the relay for them, horn is working but disconnected as the contact ring is broken, needs lower control arms (I will fit these) front chrome windshield trim is there needs fixing (I would buy new so I left it off).
Has been driven up and down the road but I would advise needs checking and I would imagine a few bushes here and there and new brake hoses before use in the UK. I have spent a lot of money and time on the car already so am unable to do anymore sadly.
